WE HAVE REACHED THE NATIONAL LOTTERY AWARDS SEMI-FINAL

PLEASE PLEASE VOTE FOR US

Please vote for us now

The Awards attracted over 720 entries this year, so it's a real achievement that we have got to this stage.

Our project will now be competing against nine others in the Woman magazine Award for Best Charity/Voluntary Project category for the public's vote . The public can start voting from 9am on 16 June . Voting will close at midday on 4 July . Voting is possible both online and by telephone.

We are the only group from Scotland within the Voluntary/Charity category and could be in with the chance of winning £2,000 and we need your vote to help us to win. Please take a minute to vote for us.

Online voting is possible via www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/awards

Each project has a dedicated phone number that people can call to register their vote for that particular project. For Hip Bumpers, our number is 0845 386 1502.

Calls to this number from a BT landline are charged at the BT lo-call landline rate. Call charges from mobile phones and other landline providers may vary.

The Hip Bumpers is a non-profit making organisation, working with charities, that meets weekly, every Monday from 7.30-9pm, in the Longmore Hall, Keith, where we enjoy learning simple dance routines and dancing strictly for fun.

Workshops in other forms of exercise, from around the globe, are held on a monthly basis.

Everyone over 18, male or female, is welcome and a friendly, positive outlook with a sense of fun is much more important than the ability to dance.

There are no barriers to participation. One of our members is a wheelchair user and we have many routines that are suitable for those with restricted mobility.

The weekly classes provide a social as well as physical outlet for many in the Keith area and our tea break, during which we have a chance to socialise, is a very important part of the evening.

COME AND JOIN US - STRICTLY FOR FUN!!
