Hip Bumpers Hip Bumpers - Weekly dancing - strictly for fun

Good exercise, good company, good fun

About Us

The Hip Bumpers was formed by members of Botriphnie WRI to entertain a neighbouring branch of the Scottish Women's Rural Institute and, as word of our unique style spread, we received a string of invites to perform.

Our popularity grew and we soon became an independent non-profit making organisation, working with charities. In September 2006 we moved our sessions to the Resource Centre in Keith. In no time at all we outgrew the Resource Centre and, since October 2006, sessions have been held in the Longmore Hall, Keith in order to accommodate growing numbers of members.

We entertain all type of clubs and organisations with our demonstration programme - showing routines and involving all members of the audience who wish to join in.

Fun is the main emphasis of the group and the demonstration programme runs for approximately one hour.
